We are interested in synaptic transmission and neuromodulation. We dissect mechanisms of the signaling machines for various transmitters and modulators in the vertebrate brain, and ask how they tune microcircuit function. 

We are a diverse group of scientists with a shared passion for experimental science. We cultivate an inclusive environment that supports all trainees, including women, immigrants, LGBTQI+ people, people from working class backgrounds, and black, indigenous and people of color.
